Man Is God's VERY SPECIAL Creation

Man was the last to be created.

Before God created man he made it sure that man will have:

  a. Protection so he created the light first so man can see as he walks around.

   b. Provision for him to eat and survive. He created the trees with its delicious fruits  first before he created man.

   c. Provision of beauty by creating the stars and flowers first.

   d. Provision of friends. Being the only human at the time, and God wanted Adam to be happy, he created the animals first so Adam will not be lonely because he has lots of pets.

 God took time to create man.

lnstead of just saying, "Let there be" like when he created the stars, etc. God took time to create man. He did it by first getting the dust from the ground and then forming it into a human body.

We don't know how long it took him and how big was the body. But it was much longer than just by saying the words, "Let there be".

 Man's life came from God's breath

The rest of God's creation had life when they were created. Life was already part of their physical, visible bodies when they were created. But man was different. His lifeless body which came from the dust had life only after God breath in his body, the breath of life.

Here are a few bible verses that says life comes and belongs to God alone.

"...is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things"; Acts 17:25

"But King Zedekiah swore to Jeremiah in secret saying, "As the LORD lives, who made this life for us, surely I will not put you to death nor will I give you over to the hand of these men who are seeking your life." Jeremiah 38:16

“Whoever takes a human life shall surely be put to death. Whoever takes an animal’s life shall make it good, life for life…” Leviticus 24:17-18.

Because human life came from God, it is a sin to kill someone for his life is taken away from him. No wonder one of the 10 commandments say that we should not kill. I also ask the question on: When Does Human Life Begins and the most informative  I found was:

When Does Human Life Begin?

Biology is clear that at conception, also known as fertilization, a unique organism comes into existence.  Since this new life possesses human DNA and is the offspring of human parents, it can only legitimately be described as human life.

Since there is no question that human zygotes, embryos and fetuses are alive, some have attempted to claim that human beings are not “persons” until some threshold is crossed, such as viability, the capacity to feel pain, birth, or even the first year after birth. The merits of such notions could be debated, but it should be clear that they are not based on science but rather on ideology, philosophy, or belief.

As far as observable science is concerned, human life begins at conception. 18-24 days later the heart begins to beat and after 8 weeks, the fetus can feel pain.

Other Milestones of Fetal Development?

Other important milestones of fetal development include:

·         At nine weeks after conception, a fetus is able to bend its fingers around an object in its hand, and sucks its thumb.

·         At 11 weeks, a fetus is breathing amniotic fluid steadily and will do so until birth.

·         At 12 weeks, a fetus can kick, turn over, make a fist, open its mouth and press its lips together.

·         At 13 weeks, a fetus’ sense are present.

·         At 20 weeks, a fetus can be startled by a loud external noise.

·         At 23 weeks, a fetus can demonstrate rapid eye movements (REM).

·         At six months, fine hair grows on the fetus’ head and eyebrows, and small eyelashes begin to appear.

·         At seven months, a fetus’ hands can support his entire weight.

·         At eight months, a fetus weighs more than four pounds.

·         During the ninth month from conception, a fetus gains half a pound per week. 

 Man Was Created For a Special Purpose

What are these special purpose for which God created man, making man the most special of all of his creation? To me this question is so important. Thus I will make a separate post on this when we answer this question:

Why did God create man if he knew that man will sin and go to hell? How can he be a God of love and also knows everything before it happens, when he created man knowing that he will sin and end up in hell? These are hard questions but has to be answered if I'm to prove that man was created by God for a very special purpose which he has not given to the rest of his creation.

But for now let me give you a preview on these reasons to prove that man was created for a very special purpose.

1. To "SUBDUE" (Genesis 1:28). David in Psalms 8:6-8 called it "RULE" and some bible versions called it "HAVE DOMINION" over all of God's creation. To start, God gave Adam the ability to give the names of animals and birds and also to have dominion over them. Such ability and authority has not been given to any of God's creation.

2. To walk and fellowship with God. How often and how long did this communion between man and God lasted before the fall, we do not know. But because God is love and he loves man, even after man sinned, God did not leave him alone. In Genesis 3:9 God called for man and ask, "Where are you" In verse 31, God gave them "garments of skin". During the time of Moses, God told them to build a tabernacle so that God's presence will still be with man. Later in eternity, we read this verse in:

Revelation 21:3 "NOW the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be there God."

3. To occupy the mansion of gold which God has prepared for man, his beloved special creation. But this is only if we are his children and our name is written in the book of life as stated in:

Revelation 21:27 "Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, BUT only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life".

Yes, man sinned against God. But God did not stop loving man for God is love. This is a very important principle to remember for our happiness. Others may look down on us because of our skin color, material possessions, lack of education and power or due to the wrong decisions we have done. But, God still loves us and is calling us, saying "were are you, come back to me for I love you so much". Below is a poster that may help you to be happy.

"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:37-39

Amen!!! Because we are God's special creation and God's most love among all his creations...NOTHING..NOTHING will be able to separate us from the love of God.
