 flawed

Now, is this fair to those who earn very little or do not earn enough to survive?
It is my question.

Now, look at this :

“Somebody    on April 3, 2020 at 11:26 AM
So the government is basically screwing over all the
part time workers (and even full time workers) who do
not make $2000 in 4 weeks, when their work is deemed
essential? 7 eleven employees, gas jockeys,
grocery store workers, and many more have to do
their job, and make less than deadbeats, sitting on
their ass doing nothing for four weeks.
Sounds like a typical Trudeau plan, and huge oversight.
Why would anybody want to work when people
are sitting at home staying safe, making more
money than people putting their life on the line in
 an essential service?

4) In order to apply, you must have earned at least $5000 in declared income over the past 12 months and have suffered a loss of income due to COVID-19.  This program is available to those who do not qualify for other paid leave programs, such as paid leave or other income support.

5)  It is a taxable benefit of $2000/month for up to
four months.

6) Self-employed workers also qualify for this program
(as long as they meet the criteria in #4).

(Those  guys are  being  very lucky to  get  job but, there  are  many that are not that lucky and have not job)
👀 ....................................

So, It is not fair at all.
They are discriminating
against the poorest

By the way, MPs, Ministers, Premiers, Mayors should donate a minimum of 15% of their salaries for the most deprived

FACILITATE LIFE FOR CANADIANS
According to the Ministry of Finance, the government tries to provide
Canadians with the money they need as
quickly as possible. And it is for this reason that the portal access to the
PCU will be put into service at the
beginning of April. Canadians eligible for unemployment insurance who
lost their jobs can continue to file their
 claims for unemployment insurance benefits.

Applicants will begin receiving their PCU payments no later than 10 days
 after submitting their application.
The grant will be paid every 4 weeks and will be offered from March 15
to October 3, 2020.

This subsidy is an element of the Government of Canada's Economic
Intervention Plan to respond to the
economic crisis caused by COVID-19. The PCU provides financial
support to the country's workers and
businesses, stabilizing the economy by helping Canadians pay for
essential goods and goods, such as living
and food on the one hand, and assisting businesses to They can pay
their employees' wages and pay their
bills in this unprecedented period of global uncertainty.

I repeat, I think the government's initiative to give a monetary collaboration to citizens (to some) is really excellent, but implementation is not the best
Better advisers are required to teach how to run this program. We understand that this is actually something new.

Now, the logical thing, the sensible thing is that the government is definitely a way to embrace all the citizens (needy) so that in reality a true "SOCIAL JUSTICE" is being carried out.

There is definitely no doubt that sooner rather than later new resolutions will come to favor all disadvantaged citizens.
